Association Membership Dues
When a licensee or appraiser makes application to join the Southeast Minnesota Association of REALTORS®, she/he is required to fill out an application form, provide us with his/her real estate license number (or information about appraisal certification) and pay the fees according to the following schedule:

There are no refunds of dues or fees paid by the applicant. Once we have received the application form and dues, he/she will be invited to attend a 4-hour Orientation for New Members session, which is a requirement of membership, and for which he/she will receive 4 hours of real estate continuing education credit. He/she is also required to attend a 3-hour Basic MLS Technology Tools class for which he/she will receive 3 hours of real estate continuing education credit.
Application for MLS Services
MLS services may be purchased by any REALTOR® broker who is a member of this association or any board or association in the state of Minnesota. Once a broker (or principal appraiser) becomes an MLS Participant, individual agents with licenses held by that broker (or affiliated as appraisers) may also receive MLS services from the association, and are required to pay the quarterly fees. An orientation program is required to discuss forms, procedures, rules and policies, and an overview of the MLS computer functions. There is a one-time broker application fee of $200, and a one-time agent application fee of $100.
MLS dues are billed only to the broker for all charges. Each licensee, including the broker, must pay: $105 quarterly. These dues are prorated on a monthly basis, starting the first day of each month of the quarter.
Keys (for access to the lockbox system) are optional.
Display Key Issuance Fee $50.00
Quarterly Display Key dues $39.80 plus tax = $42.59
E-Keys are billed directly by Supra at $21.18 plus tax = $22.66 per month effective 9/1. (Agent pays initial month by credit card at time of installation, then is billed monthly from their credit card. Each agent must furnish their own compatible palm device.)
MLS computer access is an optional service. Contact Technology Concepts (507-289-4180) for information on PC compatibility requirements. Once you have completed the membership requirements you will receive a member ID number and password to access MY Place at www.semnrealtors.com. There are no on-going charges for access. An Access Agreement, available from the MLS office, must be signed by you and the broker to initiate access. |
