The Winona Area Chamber of Commerce became engaged with improving connection between business and education due to the work of the Chamber's Economic Development Committee. Employers reported an increasing concern about finding future workers with the skill sets needed for the jobs of the future. The Winona Area Chamber of Commerce formed the Chamber Business/Education Committee in 2007. Project Lead the Way is just one of several initiatives that the committee is engaged in to further expose high school students to career exploration. |
